Historical Photos since 1870

Photography has changed tourism over the past 150 years. Now it was no longer the draughtsmen who had to depict the beauty of the landscapes, but the photographers were able to produce magnificent pictures with little effort. Very popular in those days were the pyramids. And wonderful pictures were created from a time when it was still allowed to climb the pyramids.

Die Fotografie hat den Tourismus in den vergangenen 150 Jahren verändert. Nun mussten nicht mehr die Zeichner die Schönheit der Landschaften darstellen, sondern die Fotografen konnten mit wenig Aufwand grandiose Bilder herstellen. Ganz beliebt in damaliger Zeit waren die Pyramiden. Und es entstanden wunderbare Bilder aus einer Zeit, als es noch erlaubt war, die Pyramiden zu besteigen.
