Venice has 55,000 inhabitants. Every year 28 million tourists pass through the most beautiful city in the world. About 130.000 people every day. Whoever has experienced this, goes home with a feeling: overwhelmed. In two ways: overwhelmed by the beauty of Venice and overwhelmed by the incredible mass flow of people. There is no reason to despise this, because you are part of it as a visitor.
But what does Venice do when the whole visitor flow is over? In the evening, in autumn and in winter? Venice is even more beautiful then.
