 When Gaudí graduated from the School of Architecture on 15 March 1878, the director of the institute, Elies Rogent, had his doubts:
„Qui sap si hem donat el diploma a un boig o a un geni: el temps ens ho dirà.“
„Who knows if we gave the diploma to a madman or a genius – only time will tell.“

 Als Gaudí am 15. März des Jahres 1878 den Abschluss an der Architekturschule erhielt, zweifelte der Direktor des Instituts Elies Rogent:
„Qui sap si hem donat el diploma a un boig o a un geni: el temps ens ho dirà.“
„Wer weiß, ob wir das Diplom einem Verrückten oder einem Genie gegeben haben – nur die Zeit wird es uns sagen.“
